The Nigerian Security and Civil defense corps has withdrawn their men from security details of Hon. Shina Abiola Peller representing Iseyin, itesiwaju, Iwajowa and Kajola federal constituency.
The directives was in a letter sent by headquarter of the force to Oyo state zonal which reads;
“WITHDRAWAL OF PERSONNEL”
following the directives of commandant “general on the neccesity of the deployment of the command personnel for an urgent National assignment.”
“On behalf of state commandant, I hereby withdraw all the personnel attached to you, this is to meet up with the national need.”
The action was taken follow the comment of the legislature on scrapping the department as reported by some media.
