My dear leaders of our great party, esteemed elders, respected stakeholders, women, youths, and the good people of Saki West, Saki East, and Atisbo Local Governments.
I stand before you today with a heart full of gratitude, humility, and a deep sense of responsibility as I accept the trust you have reposed in me as your consensus candidate for the House of Representatives.
This moment is not just about me, it is about all of us. It is about our shared vision for a better, more united, and more prosperous Ifedapo Federal Constituency.
First and foremost, I give glory to Almighty God for His grace and guidance. I also sincerely thank our party leadership, our leaders across the three local governments, and every stakeholder who worked tirelessly to make this consensus possible. Your sacrifice, wisdom, and commitment to unity will not be forgotten.
Let me say this clearly: this mandate is not mine alone, it belongs to every son and daughter of Saki West, Saki East, and Atisbo.

I am fully aware that our constituency is richly diverse, with strong cultural and religious identities. While I am a Christian, I stand before you not as a candidate of a religion, but as a servant of the people—committed to fairness, justice, and inclusiveness.
Our strength lies in our unity. Muslims, Christians, and traditional believers, we have lived together as one people, shared the same markets, schools, and communities. I assure you today that I will represent every group equally, with respect and dignity.
Religion will never be a barrier under my representation; rather, it will be a bridge for understanding, cooperation, and peace.
My agenda is simple and people-centered:
– Inclusive Representation: Every ward, every community, and every voice will matter.
– Youth Empowerment: Creating opportunities for employment, skills development, and entrepreneurship.
– Women Advancement: Supporting women in business, leadership, and social development.
– Infrastructure Development: Improving roads, schools, healthcare, and access to basic amenities.
– Economic Growth: Leveraging trade, agriculture, and small-scale industries to uplift our people.
– Education and Human Capital Development: Investing in our future through quality education and training.
I will be accessible, accountable, and responsive. The era of distant representation must end, we will build a system where your representative is truly connected to the people.
To my co-aspirants and political allies, I extend a hand of fellowship. This is not the time for division; it is the time for consolidation. Together, we are stronger. Together, we will win. Together, we will deliver good governance.
I also appeal to our religious leaders (Imams, Pastors, and community leaders) to continue to preach unity, peace, and mutual respect. Our diversity should be our strength, not our weakness.
To the youths, I say: this is your movement. Stand firm, stay engaged, and be agents of positive change.
To the women, your support is invaluable. Your voice will continue to be heard and respected.
As we move forward, I pledge to run an issue-based campaign; one that inspires hope, promotes unity, and delivers results.
Let history remember this moment, not just as the emergence of a candidate, but as the beginning of a new chapter of unity, inclusiveness, and purposeful leadership in Ifedapo Federal Constituency.
Together, we will rise.
Together, we will succeed.
Together, we will build the future we deserve.
Thank you, and may God bless you all.
Hon. Adebisi Adeniyi Olabode
