…..On His Emergence as PDP Candidate for Saki West Constituency, 2027 Election
My dear leaders, elders, party faithful, brothers and sisters of Saki West,
Today, I stand before you with a heart full of gratitude, humility, and renewed determination. I accept this honor and responsibility as the chosen candidate of our great party, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), to represent Saki West Constituency in the 2027 election.
This moment is bigger than one man. It is bigger than one ambition. It is a triumph of unity, trust, and the belief that leadership must remain rooted in service.
First and foremost, I express my profound appreciation to our amiable leader and Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, whose exemplary leadership continues to inspire a new generation of progressive politics. Your commitment to fairness, development, and inclusive governance has given many young people the courage to dream and the confidence to serve.
I also deeply appreciate the deputy governor, Saki West Elders Council lead by His Excellency Eng. Hammed Gbadamosi,party leaders at the state, senatorial,Old Ifedapo Federal Constituency, Saki West local government, ward, and unit levels, and every stakeholder who contributed to this process.
To the distinguished members of the screening committee, thank you for your diligence, transparency, and confidence in my capacity. Your decision is not merely an endorsement—it is a sacred trust.
To the Chairman of Saki West Local Government, the members of the Legislative Council,executives,our party executives, community leaders, women groups, youth groups, and the good people of Saki West, I thank you for your steadfast support and prayers.
I also extend respect to my fellow aspirants. Democracy is strengthened when good people step forward to serve. I honor your courage, your ideas, and your commitment to our constituency. Now is the time to unite because what binds us together is greater than any contest that stood between us.
My fellow citizens,
I accept this mandate with a clear understanding of the challenges before us. Our people desire quality representation. Our farmers seek prosperity. Our youths seek opportunities. Our traders seek enabling infrastructure. Our students seek quality education. Our communities seek security, dignity, and hope.
I hear your voices.
I know your struggles.
And I am ready to serve.
If elected, I will pursue a bold legislative agenda focused on:
- Agricultural prosperity, by promoting commodity boards, agro-processing, and support for farmers.
- Modern infrastructure, including rail and transport connectivity that links Saki to wider markets.
- Education access, with new schools, scholarships, and better learning opportunities.
- Energy reform, through state-driven electricity generation and distribution opportunities.
- Youth empowerment, through skills, entrepreneurship, and job creation.
- Transparent representation, where the people remain at the center of every decision.
I do not come with empty promises. I come with a record.
As Councilor and Majority Leader, I have worked with colleagues to strengthen governance at the grassroots. Through Hope Never Dies (HND), we empowered youths through agriculture, training, and opportunity. We proved that leadership is not about speeches—it is about solutions.
But this is only the beginning.
The next chapter requires all of us.
To our youths: your energy is needed.
To our women: Your wisdom is needed.
To our elders: your guidance is needed.
To every voter: your voice is needed.
Let us reject division and embrace progress. Let us rise above fear and choose hope. Let us replace politics of bitterness with politics of ideas, dignity, and results.
Saki West deserves not just representation—but exceptional representation.
And with your support, we will deliver it.
