As part of activities commemorating the 2026 International Students’ Day, the Kwara State Government, under the leadership of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON, has opened applications for business equipment support and business expansion grants targeting student entrepreneurs.
The intervention, spearheaded through the Office of the Senior Special Assistant on Students’ Affairs, is tailored specifically to assist undergraduates running active commercial enterprises alongside their studies.

According to the official circular, the submission portal opens on October 31, 2026, and will close on November 7, 2026.

Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the grant and equipment package, applicants must:
- Be bona fide students of recognized tertiary institutions.
- Own and actively operate an existing business enterprise.
