The Chairman of Saki West Local Government,Engr Sarafadeen Omirinde has congratulated the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, on his recent election as the Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum (NGF).
Engr ominrinde said Governor Makinde’s appointment as the Vice Chairman of the NGF is a recognition of his outstanding leadership and dedication in governance.
The local Government chairman noted that the NGF is an important platform that brings together all Governors in Nigeria to discuss and address issues of national importance and elevating Governor Makinde to the position of Vice Chairman is a significant achievement for him and Oyo State.
Engr. Omirinde praised Governor Makinde’s commitment to good governance, inclusive policies and developmental initiatives, which have significantly transformed Oyo State and earned him the respect of his fellow Governors.
The Chairman also highlighted the Governor’s relentless efforts in driving socioeconomic progress, improving infrastructure and enhancing the quality of life for the people of Oyo State.
Omirinde expresses belief that Engr. Makinde’s new role in the NGF would provide a platform for him to amplify the aspirations and concerns of not only the people in Oyo State but in the nation at large.
He further stated that Governor Makinde’s wealth of experience, visionary leadership, and pragmatic approach to governance would undoubtedly contribute to the collective efforts of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum in addressing the nation’s challenges and advancing its development.
The Chairman also noted that Engr. Makinde’s achievement is a reflection of the positive impact he has made on the lives of the people of Oyo State.
Engr. Omirinde expressed confidence in Governor Makinde’s ability to use his new position to attract more developmental projects, investments and opportunities to Oyo State.
The Local Government chairman also congratulate the Governor on the commissioning of Governor’s lodge in Abuja which he described as another feather that has been added to the cap of the Governor as a great achiever.
Engr. Sarafadeen Omirinde urged the people of Saki West Local Government and in the entire State to continue to support Governor Makinde’s administration as he assumes his new responsibilities in the NGF. He emphasized the importance of unity and cooperation among the various tiers of government to achieve sustainable development and improve the well-being of the citizens.
