The Executive Chairman of Saki West LG, Engr Sarafadeen Ahmed Ominrinde, has promised to supply drugs, erect electric poles and construction of basketball court at Command science Secondary School, Saki.
Ominrinde stated this when he paid a courtesy visit to the school on Wednesday.
he said “the management of the school has done a lot which made the school to be a real model science school, the state government has also contributed their own quota, we at the Local level must give our own Input too.”
“We are going to supply drugs to the clinic, erection of electric poles in the school and construction of basketball court.”
Omirinde who was taken round the school premises by the Commandant of the school, Lt Col. Oladejo, said that he was impressed with the facilities met on ground and promised to fulfill the pledges made.
Earlier in his welcome address, the Commandant, Lt Col. Oladejo appreciated the Omirinde and his management team for the visit, he enumerated the achievements of the school which include accreditation of WAEC and NECO, procurement of standard materials for the laboratories, amongst others.
On the enrolment of the students, the Commandant enjoined the Chairman to educate the community on the need to enroll their children in the School.
However, Lt Col. Oladejo solicited for the assistance from the LG and urged the Chairman to convince philanthropists in the community to assist the school.
The Commandant was later decorated by the Chairman with Oyo state logo badge, while some of the logos were presented to him for onward distribution to other members of Staff of the command.
Accompanied the Chairman were Alh Kola kazeem, HLGA, Alh Abdulganiu Okinaran, Chief of Staff, supervisors and Special Assistants.
Others were Alh Rahman Oladiti, Director of Finance, Engr Felix Folaranmi, Director of Works and others
