Salaudeen Kabeer Congratulates Oroyinyin, Says Experience Will Strengthen Oyo Muslim Community

The Majority Leader of the Saki West Legislative Arm and Allied Peoples Movement (APM) candidate for Saki West State Constituency in the forthcoming general election, Hon. Salaudeen Kabeer Adebayo, has congratulated former Commissioner of Police, Alhaji Lawal Sulaiman Oroyinyin, on his emergence as the Vice Chairman of the Muslim Community, Oyo State.

In a congratulatory message, Hon. Adebayo described the emergence of Alhaji Oroyinyin as a significant development and a recognition of his years of dedicated service, leadership experience and contributions to the peace, security and development of society.

Adebayo, while expressing his delight over the development, said the new position was a well-deserved responsibility for the former senior police officer, whose professional career was characterised by discipline, commitment to public service and the maintenance of law and order.

He noted that Alhaji Oroyinyin, a prominent indigene of Saki West Local Government Area, had distinguished himself through decades of service in the Nigeria Police Force before retiring at the rank of Commissioner of Police.

According to him, the wealth of experience acquired by Oroyinyin in policing, conflict management, community relations and public administration would be invaluable to the leadership of the Muslim Community in Oyo State.

Hon. Adebayo further expressed confidence that the retired police commissioner would bring his wealth of experience and leadership qualities to bear on the administration of the Muslim Community, particularly in promoting unity, peaceful coexistence, mutual understanding and the welfare of Muslims across the state.

He said the position came with an enormous responsibility, stressing that the Muslim Ummah required leaders who could foster unity and constructive engagement while strengthening relationships between religious communities and other stakeholders.

The APM candidate emphasised that Alhaji Oroyinyin’s emergence should not only be viewed as a personal achievement but also as a source of pride to the people of Saki West and the wider Oke-Ogun region.

He urged the new Vice Chairman to remain committed to the principles of fairness, inclusiveness, peace and service, adding that his experience as a retired senior police officer had placed him in a unique position to contribute meaningfully to the resolution of challenges confronting the Muslim community.

Adebayo also expressed optimism that Oroyinyin would work harmoniously with other members of the Muslim Community’s leadership to advance the interests of the Ummah and support programmes designed to promote religious harmony, social development and peaceful coexistence throughout Oyo State.

He prayed for wisdom, sound health and divine guidance for Alhaji Oroyinyin as he assumes the new responsibility, while assuring him of the goodwill and prayers of the people of Saki West.

The former Commissioner of Police, Alhaji Lawal Sulaiman Oroyinyin, recently emerged as the Vice Chairman of the Muslim Community, Oyo State, amid commendations for his leadership pedigree and contributions to community development.

His emergence is widely regarded as an opportunity to deploy his extensive experience in public service towards strengthening unity, peaceful coexistence and collaboration among members of the Muslim Ummah and the broader Oyo State community.

Hon. Salaudeen Kabeer Adebayo concluded by describing Oroyinyin’s new assignment as a call to greater service, expressing confidence that his tenure would contribute significantly to the continued growth, unity and development of the Muslim Community in Oyo State.
