The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, has released the results of candidates who sat for the first day of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.
Jamb announced this in a statement on Friday night, directing Candidates who sat the examination on Thursday, April 16, to proceed to check their scores.
JAMB spokesperson, Dr Fabian Benjamin, in the statement posted on his X handle, further stated that printing of result slips would be enabled later.
To check via SMS, Open your SMS app on the phone used for registration. Type UTMERESULT (all caps, no space). Send to 55019 or 66019. Receive your total score and subject breakdown via reply SMS
Also, you can check through JAMB e-Facility. Visit https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/ or https://www.jamb.gov.ng/eFacility/. Enter your JAMB registration number or login with email/password. Select “Check UTME Examination Result” and submit. If results are withheld, check back later or contact JAMB.
Meanwhile, “printing of the results is not available yet as more results would be released in batches as the nationwide examination continues” he said.
JAMB further issued a strong warning against the manipulation of examination scores, stressing that altering with official result or scores results to a serious criminal offence.
