Stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State have endorsed Hon. Adeniyi Adebisi as the party’s flagbearer for the Saki East/Saki West/Atisbo Federal Constituency.
The decision was reached during a strategic stakeholders’ meeting held with the Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, alongside influential political figures and party leaders from the Oke-Ogun region.
Insiders at the meeting revealed that the endorsement followed extensive deliberations, with stakeholders unanimously backing Adebisi as the consensus candidate, a move seen as part of efforts to consolidate party unity and strengthen its political structure ahead of forthcoming engagements.
Hon. Adebisi currently serves as the Commissioner for Trade, Industry, Investment and Cooperatives in Oyo State. He previously held the position of Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development, where he contributed significantly to policy implementation and development initiatives within the state.
