Saki-Ogbooro-Igboho: Roads User laments, charges Govt on quick intervention.

Must read

It has been a difficult period for the user of Saki-Ogbooro-Igboho road this time around just because of the on-going construction of the road.

The serious health challenges that the dust posed to the body and shop of the user is not the only reason for the alarm raised but other physical challenges which the road has been created for user made them laments.

One of the road user, AbdRaheem AbdGaniy Agboye who speak with our correspondent lamented on the consequences of the road as at now.

He said the governor of Oyo State, Engr. Oluwaseyi Makinde, Okere of Sakiland, Oba Dr. Khalid Olabisi Ilugbemidepo, the Chairman Saki West Local Government Hon. Sarafadeen Omirinde, and all other stakeholders in the town to come on their rescue because the road is not more usable like before.

“We have been suffering from the dust which is coming out of the road. We are pleading to the concern quarters to please find lasting solutions to it not because of our own personal reasons but but visitors and all users of the road.”

Another user, Mr. Adeyemi Daud O. who is a principal of a school in Ogbooro call on the government to also pity the students using the route because of their health condition.

At the sametime, Mr. Adeyemi call the attention of the company handling the project, China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) to take proper measure on their work.

“Most of us are civilized and elite. We knew how things were done in other state. Please do the needful because of our health. We are all dying. He pleaded.

All effort to meet the construction company on why their work are being done without caring for the user are abortive. Because, what all the users are clamoring for is for them to be watering the road continuously just to reduce the dust coming out.
