Thirty-five year old Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Adebo Ogundoyin has emerged the candidate, who will be recontesting a second term seat in the Oyo State House of Assembly, under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Reacting to the primary results held yesterday, Ogundoyin thanked his constituents for the support while appreciating Governor Makinde as well as leaders of the party in the state, for their unrelenting support.
He tweeted: “All thanks to God Almighty for the rare privilege given to me to emerge as the flag-bearer of our great party- @OfficialPDPNig to contest again as member representing Ibarapa East State Constituency, at the @oyoassembly come 2023 General Elections.
“I equally appreciate our political leaders across the state, my leaders at the zone and local govt, all @OfficialPDPNig excos and members, delegates, the entire good people of Ibarapa East and of course the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde for their steadfast love and support.
“Congratulations to all my colleagues at the 9th @oyoassembly who won the primaries at their various constituencies, other @OfficialPDPNig candidates in the state & Nigeria. I wish all of us victory at the 2023 Elections, God spare our lives and reward our efforts with success”.
